it has been a long time coming to resuscitate litb (lifeistoobeautiful.com). so much going on and with what seems like a million things going in and out of my mind, i had to pause and take a step back from where this personal little project was going. spanning from just daily thoughts, lyrics, songs, work related projects, or daily happenings … with the biz and life happenings, i was dealing with the whole “lets get organized” and not all over the place. whether it took me weeks to months, i’m at a place that i want to devote ME into this. a seperate take from me+business+art … but just me.
things with blueline have moved so quickly over the past two years since i had left indiana university, that i was trying to keep up personally as an artist and business owner, but still always trying to make sure i was being me. i’ve always taken a personal aspect of art into my business and worn everything on my sleeve when it came to how i did things, but as things got bigger and moved alot more quickly it was hard to juggle who i was as a fine art creator and also creating a business. so now as blueline evolves into its own thing, and the wonderfullness that is is and all that are involved. im taking a step personally in a direction of … here is is out there and this is who i am, this is what i see, this is what i hear, what inspires me, and how i just live.
i will not talk business. i’ll leave the whole blueline thing to its own evolving things @ http:/.bluelinestyle.com/liveatblueline and twitter @blueinestyle . PS. my amazing intern julia is rocking it out.
sooo. in my long winded explanation of where this might go and why it was a dead blog for awhile and all that jazz, i’m going to leave at the door and from this post on, it will be what it is. why and how i see that life is too beautiful. way to beautiful. from every sense of the experience you can take in… sight, smell, hear, touch and taste. some of it might make sense, some of it kind of sense, and some not at all. but i’m pretty ok with that.
so how you find it is you either already know it, or its an experience of looking at the fine print or a caption and stumbling upon this link.
so alot of my work is spent going from place to place, shoot to shoot, meeting to meeting … so besides being in my studio in bloomington, when i’m travelling i’m usually at some random coffeeshop with wifi, working out of a friends business, finding wireless pretty much wherever i can… but sometimes if i know i need a good few hours, i’ll hit up a library.
Why?
1. its super quiet
2. there’s all sorts of interesting people watching
3. i get ALOT of work done… and i mean ALOT
so, when i’m in evansville for work i’m usually at pennylane’s coffeehouse but lately i’ve been pretty interested in super old buildings so my plan was after my trip to chicago this weekend, when i got here i’d work out of the old willard library in downtown evansville.
